Job summary

Centurion Health in Waycross, GA seeks a Site Medical Director at Ware State Prison to lead clinical services and supervise site medical staff. The role ensures high-quality, compliant patient care within a secure setting and partners with the HSA on service delivery and CQI initiatives.

You will oversee clinical direction, participate in committees, and collaborate with prison administration to maintain efficient, patient-centered care while upholding professional medical standards.

Qualifications

• Medical degree (MD or DO) required.
• Active and unrestricted Georgia medical license or ability to obtain one.
• Must hold/obtain DEA registration.
• Ability to pass credentialing and background check.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical direction to meet service delivery requirements at the site.
• Direct clinical services for patients and supervise medical staff.
• Collaborate with Health Services Administrator (HSA) to ensure efficient, appropriate medical services.
• Participate in CQI, Infection Prevention and Control, and Pharmacy and Therapeutics committees.
