Job summary

Upperline Health Inc. is seeking a Medical Director for the Baltimore market to advance clinical excellence within Upperline Plus.

The role combines direct patient care, clinical leadership, and VBC program management, partnering with central teams to drive high-quality, coordinated care. The successful candidate will oversee and coach other providers, manage a small patient panel, and identify market opportunities while visiting clinics and providers in the market.

Qualifications

• Must hold an MD or DO and board certification in a relevant specialty.
• Active Maryland medical license and willingness to pursue multi-state licensure if needed.
• ~5 years of outpatient practice experience with high-risk and complex patient populations.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical leadership and advance clinical excellence across Upperline Plus in the Baltimore market.
• Lead and coach clinicians, including nurse practitioners, and collaborate with central interdisciplinary teams.
• Drive value-based care initiatives, optimize care processes, and improve patient outcomes and quality of life.
