Job summary

Upperline Health, Inc. seeks a Medical Director for the Atlanta market to advance clinical excellence, strengthen provider engagement and lead clinical value-based care across the market.

This role combines patient care, clinical leadership, and VBC program management and partners closely with the central interdisciplinary team, population health and operations teams. Approximately 30-50% time in clinic.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO).
• Board certified in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, Preventive Medicine or Geriatrics.
• Active Georgia medical license; willingness for multi-state licensure.
• Approximately 5 years outpatient practice in high-risk, complex patient populations.
• Experience with value-based care models and quality improvement.
• Clinical oversight or coaching of other providers.
• Willing to provide direct care in the Atlanta market.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical leadership and oversee Upperline Plus' clinical activities.
• Lead VBC program management and partner with central teams.
• Coach nurse practitioners and multidisciplinary staff.
• Identify market opportunities and improve clinical processes.
• Lead population health initiatives to optimize care models.
• Spend 30–50% of time in the clinic within the Atlanta market.
