Job summary
TeamHealth in Murfreesboro, TN is seeking a quality-driven physician to join our post-acute care team as a full-time Medical Director in a skilled nursing facility. The role includes rounding, medical directorship, strong support, autonomy, and earning potential with a fee-for-service structure and uncapped productivity income, plus monthly stipends for directorship.
You will lead clinical care, collaborate with an experienced multidisciplinary team, and participate in onboarding and mentorship
Qualifications
- Current physician license (State of TN) and DEA are required.
- Experience in post-acute, acute, ED, or clinic settings is preferred; new graduates are welcome.
- Strong clinical foundation and knowledge of healthcare regulations.
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and medical histories.
- Develop and adjust individualized care plans to meet patient needs.
- Monitor progress and coordinate care to optimize outcomes.
- Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals.
- Educate patients and families on health management and preventive strategies.
- Maintain accurate medical records compliant with regulations.
