Location:
South Bend, Indiana, a city on the St. Joseph River, is known for its proximity to the University of Notre Dame, the Studebaker National Museum, and its role as part of the South Bend-Mishawaka-Elkhart metropolitan area.
Facility:
Walk-in clinic providing occupational medicine and urgent care services, as well as physical therapy and wellness. Our experienced clinicians treat a wide range of injuries and illnesses, including sprains, broken bones, coughs, colds, and flu. The clinical team includes board-certified physicians, licensed physical therapists, nurse practitioners, medical assistants, physician assistants, and specialist clinicians.
Opportunity:
- Start Date: ASAP
- Hours: Monday-Friday; 8A-5P (No nights, call, or weekends)
- 100% center-based patient care, mentoring, leading by example, and demonstrating clinical excellence and an exceptional patient experience.
- Assumes role and responsibilities of CMD, functioning either at a specific location or as part of the Market Float providing coverage for an open CMD position.
- Collaborates with the Director of Medical Operations (DMO) to identify opportunities for improving clinical quality, workflows, safety, center performance, and patient satisfaction.
- Works with the director team (primarily DMO and Director of Therapy Operations) to identify clinical improvement opportunities and ensure appropriate support and workflow compliance.
- Mentors and trains future clinical leaders, fostering an environment of collaboration, professionalism, safety, quality care, continuous improvement, and recognition.
- Understands center financial drivers and outcomes, and leverages available tools to achieve business and strategic plans, assisting CMDs accordingly.
- Maintains relationships with employers, payers, referral sources, networks, and local communities to promote market growth, responding to requests within 24 hours.
- Assists with clinician meeting planning and leadership, and manages staffing needs with the DMO and EA, including unforeseen coverage adjustments.
- May be required to observe drug/alcohol testing of patients.
- Qualifies for federal school loan forgiveness program.
Compensation:
- Hours: M-F, 8AM-5PM, no nights, weekends, holidays, or call
