Job summary

Our Healthcare Center Wellness Clinic in Arlington, TX is seeking a Medical Director (Infectious Disease) to lead outpatient care. You will join a fully staffed, mission-driven team dedicated to serving the local community.

The role requires MD/DO with active license, DEA and Furnishing license, outpatient experience, and ability to manage 14–18 patients per day. No night shifts; on-site with a strong benefits package.

Qualifications

• MD or DO with active state medical license.
• Active DEA registration and Furnishing license.
• Outpatient primary care experience required.
• Ability to manage 14–18 patients daily.
• Active CPR/BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality care and meet productivity standards.
• Collaborate with care team to support patient well-being.
• Accommodations will be made for individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions.
• Manage a minimum of 14 patients per 8-hour shift and adjust targets for extended shifts.
• Oversee patient scheduling to minimize no-shows and meet productivity benchmarks.
• Complete documentation the same day or within 72 hours with accurate E/M codes.
• Deliver primary care for chronic conditions and acute issues.
• Collaborate with front desk, care coordinators, and nursing staff.
