Job summary

Scorpion Therapeutics seeks a Medical Director, Autoimmune Disease, to lead the autoimmune diagnostics development program and shape its clinical strategy.

You will oversee clinical development planning, evidence strategies, and early clinical experience; build KOL relationships and scientific collaborations; provide medical insights to R&D, commercial, and market access teams; guide clinical validation, regulatory documents, and biomarker programs; and support remote work with up to 25% travel.

Qualifications

• MD/DO with 8+ years post-training experience.
• Includes at least 4 years in autoimmune or immune-mediated disease.
• 4+ years in industry (biotech, diagnostics, or pharma).
• Board certification or eligibility.
• Experience in clinical evidence planning, real-world evidence, and biomarker development.
• Knowledge of diagnostic study design, GCP, FDA, CLIA/CAP, and related regulations.
• Proven cross-functional partnership skills.
• Ability to travel up to 25%.
