Qualifications

• MD/DO required with board certification preferred.
• 4+ years in clinical development within biotech/pharma/CRO.
• Experience with autoimmune therapies desirable.
• Strong understanding of regulatory and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide medical leadership across clinical development plans from first-in-human to registrational stages.
• Lead protocol development, study design, and cross-functional start-up activities.
• Collaborate with investigators, KOLs, external advisors, and health authorities.
• Oversee medical monitoring, safety oversight, data review, and clinical reporting.
• Ensure ethical, safety, quality, GCP, and regulatory compliance across studies.
• Review emerging literature and competitive landscape to inform strategy.
• Attend scientific meetings and contribute to external communications.
• Support regulatory submissions and preparation of clinical documents.
• Contribute to publication strategy and external communications of data.
• May participate in business development and investor discussions.
• Potentially oversee direct reports or external partners.
