Job summary

Northeast Healthcare Recruitment, Inc. (NEHCR) is seeking a dedicated Medical Director/Attending Physician to provide patient-centered care across local skilled nursing facilities in Fremont, Michigan.

This part-time role offers scheduling flexibility and a collaborative practice environment to support post-acute and long-term care patients. You will lead clinical teams, work with NPs and PAs, and oversee care delivery with an emphasis on quality, safety, and compassionate service.

Qualifications

• Active MD or DO with unrestricted U.S. medical license or eligibility for licensure.
• Board Certification or Board Eligibility in FM, IM, Geriatrics, PM&R, or ED.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient-centered care across local skilled nursing facilities.
• Collaborate with Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants to deliver comprehensive care.
• Provide clinical leadership and oversight within assigned facilities.
• Maintain flexible scheduling to support part-time coverage.
• Manage a typical workload of 18–25 visits per day.
