Job summary

Northeast Healthcare Recruitment, Inc. (NEHCR) seeks a part-time Medical Director/Attending Physician to oversee care at local skilled nursing facilities in Mishawaka, Indiana.

You will collaborate with NPs and PAs, provide clinical leadership, and ensure patient-centered care across post-acute and long-term residents. Active MD or DO with US licensure; board certification/eligibility in FM, IM, Geriatrics, PM&R, or ED; no on-call or overnight shifts; roughly 18–25 visits per day; LTC focus;

• Board Certified or Board Eligible: FM, IM, Geri, PM&R & ED.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and clinical decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide medical direction and oversight across local skilled nursing facilities in Mishawaka, IN.
• Deliver patient-centered care in collaboration with NP/PA teams.
• Lead clinical care planning and ensure quality standards in post-acute and long-term care settings.

Job description

We are seeking a dedicated Medical Director/Attending Physician to provide exceptional care across local skilled nursing facilities in Mishawaka, Indiana. This part-time opportunity offers outstanding scheduling flexibility, a collaborative practice environment, and the ability to make a meaningful impact on the health and well-being of post-acute and long-term care patients. As the attending physician, you will partner with experienced Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants to deliver comprehensive, patient-centered care while providing clinical leadership and oversight within assigned facilities.
