JumpstartMD, Inc. is seeking a Medical Director to lead a national weight management and health optimization program. You will oversee a team of mid-level providers, deliver advanced clinical care, and drive programmatic evolution across hormone therapy and cardiometabolic health.

The role emphasizes leadership, protocol development, and cross-functional collaboration to scale our telehealth and multi-office operations nationwide.

Qualifications

• Board certified MD with 5+ years of experience.
• Multi-state medical license including CA and TX.
• DEA registration and background check clearance.
• Experience leading weight management, hormone replacement therapy, and cardiometabolic health programs.

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive clinical care in line with JumpstartMD protocols.
• Mentor and develop Physician Assistants and Nurse Practitioners.
• Lead a team to ensure exceptional patient outcomes and satisfaction.
• Optimize Standard Operating Procedures for efficiency and quality.
• Model excellent patient interaction and participate in leadership meetings.
• Provide staff with clinical guidance and policy support.
• Address operational issues with the Chief Medical Officer or Director of Clinical Operations as needed.

A Medical Director who will be at the forefront of revolutionizing healthcare. Our focus is on empowering our members through proven science via medical weight management, hormone replacement therapy, lifestyle medicine, reversal and prevention of cardiometabolic disease, vitamin optimization, evidence-based exercise protocols, peptide therapy, and skin,hair and sexual health enhancement.

In this pivotal role, you’ll not only deliver transformative care but also lead a team of dedicated mid-level practitioners, elevating their skills and interactions to ensure our patients receive unparalleled service and outcomes. Your vision will contribute to our programmatic evolution, driving cutting-edge initiatives that refine and expand our services.

• Deliver comprehensive clinical care in line with regulatory standards and JumpstartMD protocols, including medical weight management, hormone replacement therapy, and cardiometabolic health optimization.
• Mentor and develop Physician Assistants and Nurse Practitioners, promoting clinical excellence and adherence to JumpstartMD’s care protocols.
• Foster an accountable workplace culture that encourages innovation and teamwork, aligned with JumpstartMD’s mission and values.
• Optimize Standard Operating Procedures for enhanced patient satisfaction and operational efficiency.
• Model exceptional patient interaction and actively participate in leadership and educational meetings.
• Provide support to staff for clinical inquiries and maintain a thorough understanding of company policies.
• Address significant operational issues with the Chief Medical Officer or Director of Clinical Operations as needed.
• Board certified MD with 5+ years of experience
• Experience in Weight Loss or Hormone Replacement Therapy is a major plus
• Demonstrated ability to design clinical protocols and implement them operationally
• Experience partnering with product and engineering teams to ship clinical workflows and programs
• Experience leading quality improvement, patient safety, or clinical operations work
• Multi-state licensed (including CA and TX)
