Job summary

JumpstartMD, Inc. is seeking a Regional Nurse Practitioner to support weight management and cardiometabolic health. The position covers Monterey and Santa Cruz locations, with a regular, full-time schedule and a patient-centered care approach.

You will lead a small team of health coaches and member care coordinators, ensure accurate records, and collaborate across disciplines to optimize outcomes in a dynamic clinic environment.

Qualifications

• California licensed NP or PA with passion for weight management and cardiometabolic health.
• Multidisciplinary, integrated care experience across nutrition, women’s health, endocrinology and lifestyle medicine.
• Strong attention to detail, teamwork, and professional demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Conduct 1:1 member consultations for weight loss under the JumpstartMD program.
• Provide routine patient care, including examinations, screenings, and medication administration.
• Ensure up-to-date patient records, ordering and evaluating lab tests as needed.
• Conduct follow-up calls and promptly respond to post-visit inquiries.
• Adhere to company policies, safety regulations, and productivity metrics.

Your Next Adventure: Regional Nurse Practitioner

Reporting To: Director of Clinical Operations
Location: Available to support both Monterey and Santa Cruz locations
Classification: Regular, Full-Time, Non-Exempt
Schedule: Tuesday - Friday, 7:00am - 1:00pm, some later days required due to internal meetings or administrative tasks

• Support team by assisting with medical and program-related questions, attending meetings, and completing required training.
• California licensed Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.
• Master's degree from an accredited NP or PA program.
• DEA Registration Certificate.
• OIG Clearance and NPI number
• Must be able to meet and receive a background check to include criminal records clearance.
