Empath Health's Tidewell Hospice and Suncoast Hospice in Florida seek a Medical Director to lead hospice care delivery. You will oversee physicians and advanced practice providers across Bradenton, Brandon, and Palm Harbor, ensuring high-quality, patient-centered care with strong compliance and community partnerships.

As clinical leader, you will mentor staff, supervise admission criteria, pain and symptom management, budget planning, and participate in IDG activities while maintaining Full Life

Qualifications

• Must hold MD or DO with board certification in a relevant specialty.
• Florida medical license in good standing (458/459).
• Minimum of five years' recent active clinical care experience.
• Palliative Medicine certification strongly preferred.
• Leadership experience of at least two years preferred.
• Hospital privileges at one or more hospitals preferred.
• Current Federal DEA registration.
• CPR certification required if patient facing.

Responsibilities
