Qualifications

• Currently enrolled undergraduate in manufacturing/industrial/mechanical/electrical/biomedical engineering entering their third year.
• Must be able to commit Jan 2027–Aug 2027 or May 2027–Dec 2027.
• Willingness to work 40 hours per week in Eden Prairie, MN during the internship.

Responsibilities

• Assist in design, development, and improvement of manufacturing processes for medical device systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify process improvements and cost-saving initiatives.
• Participate in root cause analysis and problem-solving for manufacturing issues.
• Support continuous improvement projects to optimize manufacturing performance and reduce waste.
• Create and maintain manufacturing work instructions and procedures.
• Assist in designing and fabricating fixtures and assembly aids with the engineering team.
• Contribute to process validation and verification activities.
