Job summary

Adecco is assisting a local client in Southington, CT to recruit an Engineering Technician to join a medical device innovation and manufacturing leader. You will support design, prototyping, testing, and data analysis while ensuring quality and safety in a regulated environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma with 3-5 years engineering technician experience, or Associate's/Bachelor's in a related field.
• Basic knowledge of mechanical engineering principles, Solidworks, Minitab, and lean/Six Sigma methods.
• Knowledge of standard engineering record-keeping, clean room environments, and QSSOPs/GMP/FDA/ISO 9001 standards.
• Must be at least 18 years old, able to lift up to 25 lbs, and legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Perform research, build prototypes, and support the design/construction of test fixtures.
• Conduct mechanical device testing, validate test methods, perform data analysis with Minitab, and present findings.
• Maintain lab equipment, manage sample/inventory, and participate in 6S, lean manufacturing, and safety initiatives.
• Troubleshoot testing equipment and collaborate with internal departments and vendors to resolve issues.
