Job Description:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Repair and Quality Assurance Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing repairs on StemWave devices, managing Spare Parts inventory, conducting quality assurance inspections, and providing an exceptional client service experience. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills, a keen eye for detail, an innovative mindset, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for problem-solving.
Responsibilities:
Repairs:
- You will diagnose and repair devices following SOPs, manage spare parts inventory and loaner devices, document malfunctions and consumables returns, prepare units for shipment, and collaborate with the shipping and logistics team.
Quality Assurance:
- You will conduct Quality Assurance inspections, offer feedback to optimize QA procedures, assist in consolidating feedback for device groupings, and participate in outbound shipment processes.
Service Calls:
- Serve as the main escalation point for the Technical Service team. You'll oversee advanced diagnostic repairs, authorize and execute full retractions and component swap-outs for customers, and deliver comprehensive explanations of repair results to clients.
Shipments:
- Support inbound shipment processes, manage outbound shipments to clients, and handle receipt, notification, and documentation of incoming swap-outs and retractions.
Internal Team / Operations:
- Attend team and manufacturer meetings.
- Assist in maintaining warehouse cleanliness standards
Miscellaneous:
- Pursue passion projects and support warehouse operations.
Requirements:
- Proficiency in utilizing hand tools and power tools.
- Knowledge of troubleshooting techniques for identifying hardware and software issues.
- Strong attention to detail in documenting repairs and adhering to quality standards.
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with customers and colleagues.
- Organizational skills for maintaining a clean and orderly workspace.
- Ability to adapt to changing repair procedures and collaborate effectively with teams.

Ideal Candidate:
- 0-2 years of experience in a related field
- 0 years of experience with an Engineering background
- 1-2 years w/o Engineering background is acceptable
- Well-spoken and able to communicate with clients professionally in de-escalation settings
- Strong organizational skills and a keen eye for detail
- Desire to work with their hands
- Comfortable speaking up and making suggestions to leadership on improving processes
- Physically able to lift 150lbs from the ground
- Ability to work closely as a team
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Needs a passport - occasional international travel required

- Able to diagnose and troubleshoot electromechanical systems
- Understands how to work with calibrated equipment
- Strong technical skills (mechanical assembly, repair, wiring, soldering, etc.)
- Passion for building things
- Opportunities for future product development involvement exist for candidates with CAD, electrical design, or regulatory experience. Not required, but Nice to Have:
- AutoCAD
- SolidWorks
- Experience with high-voltage applications
- Schematic design
- PCB layout
- Experience with electrical or mechanical design
- Experience working under a quality system
- Experience with any regulatory standard

Pay: $20.78 - $25.03 per hour
