Job summary

Nova Biomedical in Norwood, MA is seeking a Software Engineering Manager to lead a local software team dedicated to osmometer platforms. You will guide development for OsmoPRO Next and future OsmoPrime and OsmoTECH XT Multi instruments, while aligning with the company’s software strategy.

The role requires hands-on software leadership, experience across embedded Linux, C#/.NET, SQL, C++, and Qt, and a track record of delivering regulated medical device software from development to post-market

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in a related technical field.
Experience developing software for regulated medical devices in an ISO 13485 environment.
Proven experience supporting software through the full lifecycle including field support and commercial release.
Strong knowledge of software architecture, design, and testing.

Responsibilities

Lead and develop a local team of software engineers supporting osmometer new product development.
Provide technical and managerial leadership for OsmoPRO Next and OsmoPrime/OsmoTECH XT Multi instruments.
Manage software development activities across the full medical device lifecycle, including design, development, verification, validation, and post-market support.
Ensure ISO 13485 compliance and quality system procedures.
