Job summary

Autocam Medical is seeking a Shipping & Receiving Specialist to manage the timely receipt, inspection, and shipment of materials in a regulated medical device environment. You will maintain accurate ERP records, ensure proper stock rotation, and collaborate with production, quality, and procurement.

The role requires 1–3 years in shipping/receiving in regulated settings, familiarity with FDA 21 CFR 820, ISO 13485, GMP, and experience with SAP/Oracle and forklift operation.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in shipping and receiving, inventory management, or warehouse operations in a regulated environment.
• Familiarity with FDA regulations (21 CFR 820), ISO 13485, and GMP for medical devices.

Responsibilities

• Receive incoming shipments and inspect for accuracy, damage, and regulatory compliance.
• Record and update inventory in the ERP system; manage FIFO/LIFO stock rotation.
• Prepare and package finished goods for shipment; ensure proper labeling and documentation.
• Complete packing slips, bills of lading, and certificates of conformance; ensure regulatory compliance.
• Maintain logs of shipments and coordinate transfers between departments.
• Coordinate with purchasing, production, and quality control to align with schedules and regulations.
• Assist in inspections and quarantine activities for non-conforming materials.
• Follow GMP, FDA, and ISO 13485 standards; operate warehouse equipment safely.
• Handle returns and ensure proper documentation and reconciliation in inventory.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
