Job summary

Baxter is seeking a Service Technician to support its mission by performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, testing, calibration, and software updates on medical devices in the Product Service Depot.

You will document findings, follow quality procedures, and work within a team to ensure devices are safely returned to customers. This on-site role requires reading technical docs and using hand tools, multimeters, and other test equipment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to read and follow work instructions and technical documentation.
• Experience using basic hand tools such as screwdrivers and pliers.
• Basic knowledge of test and measurement equipment (digital multimeters, power supplies).
• Computer proficiency for data entry and software navigation.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, calibration, and software updates on medical devices.
• Conduct functional, safety, and performance testing using diagnostic and measurement equipment.
• Utilize tools and test equipment such as digital multimeters, safety analyzers, patient simulators, power supplies, and torque wrenches.
• Document service findings, test results, maintenance activities, and repair actions within the designated systems of record.
• Follow Quality Management System requirements, standard work instructions, and established service procedures.
• Diagnose device malfunctions, determine root causes, and escalate issues requiring additional technical support.
