Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD program and returning to your program after the co-op.
• Knowledge and application of engineering and scientific concepts.
• Ability to apply technology and engineering concepts to develop solutions.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team.
• Experience with data analysis and application development in Python.
• Previous lab or medical device experience.
• Experience with hardware design and rapid prototyping, including mechanical and/or electrical design and fabrication.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop prototype components or subassemblies for test fixtures and future medical devices.
• Develop test methods and protocols for evaluation of medical devices.
• Set up and execute experimental tests in a lab to provide data on device performance.
• Contribute to data analysis tools to improve evaluation efficiency.
• Prepare formal test reports documenting activities and results.
• Present findings to cross-functional program teams.
• Contribute to deliverables and required documentation for products under development.
