You will design test fixtures, develop testing protocols, and generate data to support current and future medical device products. Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a bachelor's, master's, or Ph.D. program and returning to the academic program after the Co-op.
• Knowledge and application of engineering and scientific concepts.
• Ability to apply technology and methodologies to develop solutions.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop prototype components or subassemblies for test fixtures and future medical devices.
• Develop test methods and protocols for evaluation of medical devices.
• Set up and execute experimental testing to generate performance data.
• Contribute to the development of data analysis tools to improve evaluation efficiency.
• Prepare formal test reports documenting testing activities and results.
• Present findings to cross-functional program teams.
• Contribute to deliverables supporting fielded products and documentation needs.
