Aerotek seeks a detail-oriented QA Inspector for a contract-to-hire role in Carlsbad, CA. The position operates in a cleanroom environment on the 2nd shift, focusing on inspection of materials and assemblies per GDP/GMP guidelines.

The ideal candidate reads drawings, uses precision measuring tools and an ERP system, and maintains meticulous documentation as part of a regulated medical device manufacturing team.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and understand mechanical drawings and dimensions.
• Proficiency with basic measuring tools and inspection equipment.
• Experience with ERP systems and accurate data entry.
• Strong documentation and communication skills.
• Knowledge of GDP and GMP practices in medical device manufacturing.
• Understanding of ISO quality standards and traceability.

Responsabilités

• Perform incoming inspections of materials and verify conformance to plans.
• Conduct in-process inspections to verify drawings and specifications.
• Carry out final inspections and approve or reject items.
• Document non-conformances and communicate them to supervision.
• Maintain inspection records and ensure proper lot traceability.
• Use measurement tools to verify product dimensions and performance.
• Follow SOPs and write/update inspection procedures as needed.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve quality issues.
