Job summary

AMETEK, Paragon Medical, in Mansfield, MA, seeks a Production Supervisor for 1st shift to direct and coordinate the work of production staff to meet customer needs and production goals. You will manage day-to-day production activities, including scheduling, workflows, and throughput, while striving to improve safety, quality, delivery, productivity, and cost.

This role reports to the Plant Manager and requires GMP/ISO/FDA knowledge, strong leadership, and hands-on medical device manufacturing

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 4+ years in a medical device manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge and experience with GMP, ISO, FDA, and other quality standards.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience in a medical device manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the safe operation of all production processes.
• Identify improvements and lead implementation. Continually monitor area and solicit feedback from employees.
• Enforce all safety rules and regulations. Coordinate safety training for the site.
• Interview, select, train, schedule and approve hours and time off requests.
• Provide leadership for employee relations through effective communications, coaching and development.
• Execute operational plan to enhance profitability, productivity and efficiency.
• Implement Lean Manufacturing techniques to improve quality, cost, on-time delivery, safety, customer satisfaction, and employee satisfaction.
• Maintain production plan and ensure compliance with cost control, waste reduction, quality and safety.
• Coordinate across shifts; use AI tools to improve productivity and reduce costs.
