Job summary

Lumicity is seeking an Electrical Engineer to join our medical device engineering team, driving design, development, and validation of electronic systems from concept through commercialization.

You will design analog/digital circuits, develop schematics and PCB layouts, and support safety and regulatory activities. Collaboration with firmware/software teams and cross-functional groups will be essential for successful design implementation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or related field.
• 3+ years of electrical engineering experience, ideally within medical devices or another regulated industry.
• Strong foundation in analog/digital circuit design, PCB design, and embedded systems.

Responsibilities

• Design, simulate, and validate analog and digital circuits for medical device applications.
• Develop schematics, PCB layouts, and supporting documentation per design control procedures.
• Collaborate with firmware/software teams to define hardware-software interfaces.
• Support EMC/EMI testing and electrical safety testing (IEC 60601-1).
• Participate in risk management activities (ISO 14971) including FMEA development.
• Assist in design transfer to manufacturing and DHF documentation.
