Job summary

Boston Scientific Minnesota is hiring for all shifts: 1st 6:00 AM–2:00 PM, 2nd 2:00 PM–10:00 PM, 3rd 10:00 PM–6:00 AM. Primary focus is to build product by following processes and instructions to meet validation and build goals.

You will assemble, repair, inspect and test products, work with engineers on process modifications, set up manufacturing equipment, train others, and maintain required certifications. This is a safety-sensitive, hourly role with potential overtime and shift differential.

Qualifications

• 1 year of work experience in manufacturing and/or assembly.
• Proficiency in communication and understanding of English, including reading work instructions to consistently build defect free medical products.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, repair, inspect and/or test products following instructions. Ability to read and comprehend basic instructions and other work-related documents, written in English.
• Work with engineers on process modifications and suggest process improvement opportunities.
• Set up and operate a variety of manufacturing machines or equipment following written instructions in English.
• Clean tools and equipment per instructions.
• Record information on approved documents.
• Dispose hazardous waste material on corresponding hazardous waste areas.
• Resolve problems and make routine recommendations.
• Train other employees when necessary.
• Maintain all certifications required to remain in compliance.
• Work overtime as required.
• Sit and/or stand for extended periods of time as needed.
