Job summary

Avalign Technologies Inc in Greenwood, IN is seeking an Assembly Technician for our 1st shift. You will assemble and inspect products on the production line and help ensure quality before delivery.

The role requires a High School diploma or equivalent, 1–3 months related experience, blueprint reading, Rivet Machine setup, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. We offer competitive pay, benefits, and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 1-3 months related experience or training.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and operations sheets.
• Ability to set-up and operate a Rivet Machine; input and maintain data in Traverse Manufacturing System.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Assembles assigned product parts on assembly line in accordance with established procedures, standards and blueprint production.
• Fastens parts together with bolts, screws, speed clips, rivets, or other fasteners.
• Disassembles, re-works or salvages scrap parts.
• Operates drill presses, hand drills, clicker press or riveting machines to assist in assembly operation.
• May operate forklift upon completing certification requirements.
• Performs spot checks of products to ensure adherence to approved quality standards; removes small quantities of metal to produce a smooth finish.
• Inspects product for quality defects including but not limited to: missing brackets, damaged brackets, incorrect artwork, screw gauges, etc.
