Job summary

Avalign Technologies, Greenwood, IN, is seeking an Assembler for a 1st shift to join our growing team. You will assemble and inspect medical devices, following established procedures and blueprints to ensure the highest quality for delivery to customers.

You will work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, using rivet machines, drills and other equipment, with opportunities to gain broad experience across assembly processes while maintaining a focus on safety and accuracy.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 1–3 months related experience and/or training.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and operation sheets.
• Ability to set up and operate a Rivet Machine; input and maintain data in Traverse Manufacturing System.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to follow written, oral, or diagram instructions.

Responsibilities

• Assembles assigned product parts on assembly line in accordance with procedures and blueprints.
• Fastens parts with bolts, screws, rivets, or other fasteners.
• Disassembles, reworks or salvages scrap parts as needed.
• Operates drill presses, hand drills, clicker press or riveting machines.
• May operate forklift after certification.
• Performs spot checks to ensure quality and finishes to spec.
