Job summary

ManpowerGroup in Tigard, OR seeks an Assembler to join a medical devices manufacturing cell. You will perform assembly, testing, and repair of pacemakers, ICDs, leads, and related components under established procedures.

This hands-on role requires good manual dexterity, ability to follow written instructions, and accurate documentation. Typical shifts include 1st and 2nd, with a pay rate of $20.00 per hour, onsite with safety and quality compliance.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, understand, and follow written procedures and verbal instructions.
• Comfortable using computers, software applications, and electronic data collection systems.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks based on urgency and importance.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine assembly, testing, and repair tasks following established and standardized procedures
• Complete assigned work under close supervision, with ongoing review to ensure quality and accuracy
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date job documentation for all manufacturing cell operations
• Communicate clearly and professionally with manufacturing leadership regarding ideas, issues, and solutions (both written and verbal)
• Maintain a positive, professional attitude when interacting with internal teams and external visitors or tours
• Follow all safety policies and correctly use required safety equipment
• Participate in continuous improvement and quality initiatives to support productivity, quality, and profitability goals
• Maintain accurate records to ensure full product traceability and resolution of any quality concerns
• Collaborate with Manufacturing Supervisors and Managers to set and monitor individual goals and cell performance metrics
• Support divisional initiatives and comply with Quality Management Systems (QMS), Environmental Management Systems (EMS), and regulatory requirements
