Job summary

Aerotek is seeking an Operator I for a medical device manufacturing site in Tigard, OR. The role operates in a cleanroom, assembling, repairing, and testing pacemakers and ICDs under close supervision. You will maintain documentation and support continuous improvement for quality and regulatory compliance.

The position emphasizes adherence to procedures, safety, and accurate data entry while contributing to product traceability and process improvements.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, comprehend, and follow detailed written procedures and work instructions.
• Ability to understand and follow verbal instructions in a production environment.
• Basic understanding of Lean Manufacturing concepts and willingness to apply them to daily work.

Responsibilities

• Perform assembly, repair, and test operations on pacemakers, ICDs, leads, and related medical device assemblies per procedures.
• Complete routine production tasks under close supervision while meeting quality and safety expectations.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation for cell operations and travelers/quality records.
• Ensure traceability of parts and prompt investigation of quality issues.
• Follow safety guidelines and use protective equipment in manufacturing and cleanroom areas.
• Communicate issues and improvements clearly to manufacturing management.
