Pacer Group in Milpitas, CA is seeking an Instrument Assembler for onsite, contract work in medical device manufacturing. The role involves electro-mechanical assembly of flow cytometers, optical and electronic components, and related documentation to ensure high-quality devices.

Responsibilities include in-process inspections, DHR paperwork, and collaboration with engineering, QA, and production teams. Strong attention to detail and ability to work with SOPs and BOMs are required.

Formación

• 2+ years in a high-tech manufacturing environment.
• Experience in electro-mechanical assembly.
• Ability to read assembly instructions, work orders, BOMs, and SOPs.
• Experience with optical and electronic components.
• Knowledge of ISO 9000 and cGMP / 21 CFR 820 is preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Perform electro-mechanical assembly of flow cytometers and related products.
• Assemble optical, mechanical, fluidic, and electronic components per procedures.
• Perform in-process inspections and document measurements.
• Generate and maintain Device History Records (DHR).
• Read and follow SOPs, BOMs, and work orders to ensure quality.
• Use hand tools and equipment for assembly tasks.
• Document key measurements and production data.
• Collaborate with engineers and QA on issues and improvements.
• Support new product introductions and documentation updates.
• Contribute to quality, efficiency, and cycle-time improvements.
