Job summary

ManpowerGroup is seeking an Assembler in Tigard, OR to join a manufacturing cell focused on medical devices. You will assemble, test, and repair components such as pacemakers and leads, following established procedures and quality standards.

The role requires strong manual dexterity, the ability to read procedures, and good data recording. Shift options include 1st and 2nd with standard safety practices and a focus on continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, understand, and follow written procedures and verbal instructions.
• Comfortable using computers, software applications, and electronic data collection systems.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks based on urgency and importance.
• Excellent manual dexterity with the ability to handle and assemble small components.
• Ability to make sound decisions and exercise good judgment with minimal supervision.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine assembly, testing, and repair tasks following established and standardized procedures.
• Complete assigned work under close supervision, with ongoing review to ensure quality and accuracy.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date job documentation for all manufacturing cell operations.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with manufacturing leadership regarding ideas, issues, and solutions (both written and verbal).
• Follow all safety policies and correctly use required safety equipment.
• Participate in continuous improvement and quality initiatives to support productivity, quality, and profitability goals.
• Maintain accurate records to ensure full product traceability and resolution of any quality concerns.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing Supervisors and Managers to set and monitor individual goals and cell performance metrics.
