Job summary

Volt in Portland, OR is hiring a Medical Device Assembler. You will perform assembly, testing, and documentation of medical catheters in a regulated environment, following SOPs to ensure FDA and GMP compliance.

Expect to work a first shift from 4:00 AM to 2:30 PM, Monday through Thursday, in a full-time contract role. Required are a high school diploma or equivalent, basic computer literacy, and strong manual dexterity with attention to detail.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Basic computer literacy and mathematical skills.
• Ability to read, understand, and follow written work instructions and verbal directions.
• Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality, accuracy, and compliance.
• Excellent manual dexterity and ability to manipulate small parts and tools.
• Comfortable performing prolonged microscope work.
• Ability to work in a cleanroom or controlled manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, repair, and test medical catheters under supervision in a regulated environment.
• Follow SOPs to ensure FDA, GMP compliance and quality systems.
• Complete paper and electronic documentation for traceability and investigations.
• Handle and assemble small components and precision parts, including under a microscope.
• Communicate clearly and professionally; work with internal and external customers.
• Maintain a positive, team-oriented attitude and safety procedures.
• Perform repetitive manual tasks for extended periods; sit or stand for long periods.
