Job summary

MedSpeed is seeking a Logistics Service Representative/Medical Driver in Aberdeen, MD. The role is full-time, Monday–Friday, with a 6:30am–3:00pm schedule and a starting pay of $16.00 per hour.

You will operate a company vehicle to transport lab specimens, medical records, and related items, ensuring safety and compliance across routes. The position emphasizes strong customer service, dependability, and teamwork within a healthcare logistics environment.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Must be 19 years of age with an active driver’s license for 3 years.
• Demonstrated dependability and reliability.
• Familiarity working with and adapting to technology.
• Demonstrated ability to follow procedures closely.
• Ability to determine efficient routing between multiple points.

Responsibilities

• Safely driving and transporting lab specimens, medical records, pharmaceuticals, x-rays, hospital supplies, interoffice mail and related materials in a company-owned vehicle.
• Operate a hand-held scanning device to track items through the transportation cycle.
• Observe operating policies, procedures and service schedules.
• Present a professional image to clients and the public through appearance and interaction.
• Load and unload company vehicles with appropriate equipment.
• Demonstrate safe and courteous driving behavior.
• Conduct pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and maintain a clean, neat vehicle.
• Route duties may vary and allow cross-routing as needed.
