Job summary

MedSpeed in Aberdeen, SD is seeking a part-time Medical Driver for a 7:30am–2:30pm Wednesday, Thursday and Friday schedule, with opportunities to pick up additional shifts including weekends. As a Medical Driver you will transport lab specimens, medical records, pharmaceuticals and related materials in a company vehicle, performing pre/post-trip inspections and maintaining safety standards.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Must be 19 years of age with an active driver’s license for 3 years.
• Demonstrated dependability and reliability.
• Familiarity working with and adapting to technology.
• Demonstrated ability to follow procedures closely.

Responsibilities

• Drive in a company-owned vehicle, transporting lab specimens, medical records, pharmaceuticals and related materials.
• Operate a hand-held scanning device to track items through the transportation cycle.
• Follow operating policies, procedures and service schedules.
• Present a professional image to clients and the public through appearance and interaction.
• Load and unload company vehicles safely and conduct pre/post-trip inspections.
• Demonstrate safe driving behavior and teamwork with teammates and clients.
