Job summary

MedSpeed is hiring a Medical Driver in Mountain View, CA, to transport lab specimens, medical records, and supplies in a company vehicle. The role runs Monday–Friday, 12:00PM–8:30PM, offering a full-time schedule and an hourly pay range between $22.50 and $24.45.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Must be 19 years of age with an active driver’s license for 3 years.
• Demonstrated dependability and reliability.
• Familiarity working with and adapting to technology.
• Demonstrated ability to follow procedures closely.

Responsibilities

• Safely driving and transporting lab specimens, medical records, pharmaceuticals, x-rays, hospital supplies and related materials in a company-owned vehicle.
• Operate a hand-held scanning device to track items through the transportation cycle.
• Observe operating policies, procedures and service schedules.
• Present a professional image to clients and the public through appearance and interaction.
• Load and unload items and demonstrate safe driving behavior.
• Conduct pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and maintain a clean vehicle.
• Collaborate with teammates and clients to ensure smooth operations.
