Job summary

MedSpeed is seeking a Medical Driver to join our Richmond, CA team. You will drive a company vehicle, transport lab specimens, medical records, and supplies, and ensure accuracy with a handheld scanner. The role requires a clean driving record and the ability to pass background checks.

Qualifications

• Customer service and interpersonal skills are required.
• Familiarity with technology and ability to use scanners or devices.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.

Responsibilities

• Safely drive a company-owned vehicle to transport lab specimens, records, pharmaceuticals and supplies.
• Load and unload the vehicle with proper equipment.
• Use a hand-held scanner to track items through transportation.
• Follow operating policies, procedures and service schedules.
• Demonstrate safe and courteous driving behavior.
• Conduct pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and maintain a clean vehicle.
• Collaborate with teammates and clients to support a MedSpeed team culture.
