Job summary

MedSpeed is hiring a Medical Driver in Mountain View, CA for full-time hours at $22.50-$24.45 per hour. Work Mon-Fri, 11am-7:30pm, in a company-owned vehicle transporting lab specimens and medical items.

You’ll use a handheld scanner, follow schedules, and present a professional image to clients. Requirements include a 19+ age, 3+ years of driving, dependable work ethic, ability to pass drug screening, and ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

• Active driver's license for at least 3 years.

• Ability to plan efficient routes between points.
• Ability to pass initial and random drug and alcohol screens.

• COVID-19 vaccination as required by location.

Responsibilities

• Drive in a company-owned vehicle to transport lab specimens and related items.
• Operate a handheld scanner to track items through the transport cycle.
• Follow policies, procedures and service schedules.
• Present a professional image to clients and the public.
• Load and unload vehicles with appropriate equipment.
• Conduct pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and keep vehicle clean.
• Be adaptable to route changes and collaborate with team and clients.
