Job summary

MedSpeed is seeking a Logistics Service Representative/Medical Driver in Pittsburgh, PA to safely drive a company vehicle, transport lab specimens and medical items, and maintain professional interactions with clients.

The role offers part-time hours (Tuesday to Thursday, 3:30pm–11:00pm) with a fixed schedule and on-demand pay options; candidates must have a valid driver’s license, pass drug screening, and be able to lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Must be 19+ with an active driver’s license for 3 years.
• Ability to pass drug & alcohol screening.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Safe driving and adherence to procedures.

Responsibilities

• Safely drive a company vehicle to transport lab specimens, medical records, pharmaceuticals, and related materials.
• Operate a handheld scanner to track items during transportation.
• Observe policies, procedures, and service schedules.
• Present a professional image to clients and the public.
• Load and unload items and ensure vehicle is clean and organized.
• Demonstrate safe driving and perform pre/post-trip inspections.
• Adapt to route assignments across multiple client needs.
• Collaborate with teammates and clients to support operations.
