MedSpeed in San Jose, CA is seeking a Part-Time Medical Driver to transport lab specimens, medical records, pharmaceuticals, and related materials in company vehicles. You will serve on weekends with a fixed schedule and professional conduct.

The role emphasizes safe driving, specimen handling, scanning transport items, and delivering timely service to healthcare partners. Training is provided and on-demand pay is offered.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Must be 19+ with an active driver’s license for 3 years.
• Demonstrated dependability and reliability.
• Familiarity with technology.
• Demonstrated ability to follow procedures closely.
• Ability to determine efficient routing between multiple points.
• Ability to pass initial and random drug & alcohol screen.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Operate a company-owned vehicle to transport lab specimens, medical records, pharmaceuticals, x-ray materials, hospital supplies, interoffice mail, and related items.
• Use a hand-held scanning device to track items through the transportation cycle.
• Follow operating policies, procedures and service schedules.
• Present a professional image to clients and the public.
• Load and unload items with appropriate equipment.
• Demonstrate safe driving behavior and conduct vehicle inspections.
• Perform route duties across all assigned routes as needed.
• Collaborate with teammates and clients to maintain MedSpeed culture.
