MedSpeed is hiring a Medical Driver in Mountain View, CA for a full-time daytime role. You will safely operate a company vehicle, transport lab specimens and medical materials, and ensure accurate item tracking with a handheld scanner.

The position emphasizes professionalism, safety, and punctuality. The job requires a clean driving history and a valid license, with the ability to lift up to 50 pounds and adapt to varying routes.

Qualifications

• Must be 19 years of age with an active driver’s license for 3 years.
• Demonstrated dependability and reliability.
• Familiarity with technology and route planning.
• Ability to pass initial and random drug & alcohol screen.
• Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Operate a company-owned vehicle to transport lab specimens, medical records, pharmaceuticals and related materials.
• Use a hand-held scanner to track items through the transportation cycle.
• Observe policies, procedures and service schedules.
• Present a professional image to clients and the public.
• Load and unload items with appropriate equipment.
• Perform pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and maintain a neat vehicle.
• Adapt to varying routes and demonstrate teamwork with clients and teammates.
• Maintain safety, reliability and courteous driving at all times.
