Job summary

MedSpeed is hiring a Medical Driver in Mountain View, CA. This full-time role runs Monday–Friday, 11:30 AM–8:00 PM, in a company-owned vehicle, transporting lab specimens, medical records, and related materials.

You will use a handheld scanner, follow schedules, and present a professional image to clients. Ideal candidates have strong customer service, dependable reliability, and the ability to follow procedures.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Must be 19 years of age with an active driver's license for 3 years.
• Demonstrated dependability and reliability.
• Familiarity working with and adapting to technology.
• Demonstrated ability to follow procedures closely.

Responsibilities

• Safely drive and transport lab specimens, medical records, pharmaceuticals, x-rays, hospital supplies, interoffice mail and related materials in a company-owned vehicle.
• Operate a hand-held scanning device to track items through the transportation cycle.
• Strictly observe operating policies, procedures and service schedules.
• Present a professional image to clients and the public through appearance and interaction.
• Load and unload company vehicles with appropriate equipment.
• Demonstrate safe and courteous driving behavior.
• Conduct pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and maintain a clean, neat vehicle.
• Route duties vary based on client and business needs across all routes.
