MedSpeed is seeking a Logistics Service Representative/Medical Driver in Frederick, MD. The role involves driving a company vehicle to transport lab specimens, records, and medical supplies on a full-time schedule (Mon-Fri, 5:30 PM–1:30 AM) with a $16.00/hr pay rate.

The position requires a valid driver’s license for at least 3 years, the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and the capacity to pass background and drug screens.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Must be 19+ years old with an active driver's license for 3 years.
• Able to pass initial and random drug & alcohol screens.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and handle varying item weights.

Responsibilities

• Safely drive and transport lab specimens, medical records, pharmaceuticals, x-rays, hospital supplies, interoffice mail and related materials in a company-owned vehicle.
• Operate a hand-held scanning device to track items through the transportation cycle.
• Observe operating policies, procedures and service schedules.
• Present a professional image to clients and the public.
• Load and unload items with appropriate equipment and maintain a clean vehicle.
• Demonstrate safe and courteous driving behavior.
• Perform pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and report any issues.
