MedSpeed is seeking a Logistics Service Representative/Medical Driver in Frederick, MD. The role involves driving a company vehicle, delivering lab specimens, medical records, pharmaceuticals, and related materials across the DMV area, while maintaining safety and accuracy using a handheld scanner.

Qualified candidates will be 19+ with 3+ years of driving, strong customer service, and the ability to pass drug/alcohol screening.

Qualifications

• Must be 19+ years old with an active driver’s license for 3 years.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated dependability and reliability.
• Ability to pass initial and random drug & alcohol screen.
• Must be able to regularly lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Drive a company-owned vehicle to transport lab specimens, medical records, pharmaceuticals, x-rays, hospital supplies, interoffice mail and related materials.
• Operate a hand-held scanning device to track items through the transportation cycle.
• Load and unload vehicles and perform pre/post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Present a professional image to clients and the public and maintain a safe driving record.
• Route duties may vary and shift duties may change based on client needs.
