Job summary

MedSpeed is seeking a Logistics Service Representative/Medical Driver in Charlottesville, VA. The role requires a flexible schedule, Monday through Friday, 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM, and pays $18.00 per hour for a full-time position.

You will operate a company vehicle to transport lab specimens, medical records, pharmaceuticals, and related materials, using a handheld scanner and maintaining safety and professionalism throughout the shift.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Must be 19 years of age with an active driver’s license for 3 years.
• Demonstrated dependability and reliability.
• Familiarity working with and adapting to technology.
• Demonstrated ability to follow procedures closely.

Responsibilities

• Safely drive and transport lab specimens, medical records, pharmaceuticals, x-rays, and hospital supplies.
• Operate a hand-held scanner to track items through the transportation cycle.
• Observe operating policies, procedures and service schedules.
• Present a professional image to clients and the public.
• Load and unload company vehicles with appropriate equipment.
• Demonstrate safe and courteous driving behavior.
• Perform route duties across assigned routes.
• Collaborate with teammates and clients to build a collaborative MedSpeed culture.
