MedSpeed is seeking a Medical Driver in Concord, CA for a full-time role with a company car route. You will transport lab specimens, medical records, and related items in a company-owned vehicle, following schedules and safety procedures.

The position emphasizes dependable, professional service with opportunities to grow within a nationwide healthcare logistics team. The role includes routine driver responsibilities, use of a handheld scanner, and adherence to drug screening and driving history

Qualifications

• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Must be 19 years of age with an active driver’s license for 3 years.
• Demonstrated dependability and reliability.
• Familiarity with technology and ability to adapt to it.
• Ability to pass initial and random drug & alcohol screen.
• Must have an excellent driving history.

Responsibilities

• Safely drive and transport lab specimens, medical records, pharmaceuticals and related items in a company vehicle.
• Operate a handheld scanner to track items through transportation.
• Follow all policies, procedures and schedules.
• Present a professional image to clients and the public.
• Load and unload materials as required.
• Demonstrate safe and courteous driving behavior.
• Perform pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and maintain the vehicle.
