Job summary

MedSpeed is seeking a Medical Driver in San Jose, CA to safely transport lab specimens, medical supplies, and related materials in a company vehicle. You will use a handheld scanner, maintain safety and professionalism, and support client needs across routes.

The position runs Monday–Friday, 9:30am–6:45pm, full-time, with a competitive hourly rate of $21.00 to $24.45 and benefits such as training and on-demand pay. Join a team focused on accuracy, teamwork, and patient care.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Must be 19 years of age with an active driver’s license for 3 years.
• Familiarity with technology and devices used on the job.
• Ability to pass initial and random drug & alcohol screens.
• Must have an excellent driving history.
• Physical ability to lift/carry items up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Safely driving and transporting lab specimens, medical records, pharmaceuticals, and related items in a company vehicle.
• Operate a hand-held scanning device to track items through the transportation cycle.
• Present a professional image to clients and the public.
• Load and unload items with appropriate equipment.
• Conduct pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and maintain a clean vehicle.
• Follow policies, procedures, and service schedules accurately.
• Adapt to changing routes and work with the team and clients.
• Contribute to a collaborative MedSpeed team culture.
