This employee performs equipment setups, specifically concentrators, durable medical equipment, etc., in a professional, safe, and timely manner. Equipment is placed in apartments, private homes, clinics, hospitals, nursing homes, and other areas where people with respiratory problems are treated.

Job Responsibilities

1. Complete equipment orientation checklists for new equipment and other necessary paperwork for new patient setup.
2. Instruct patients in the safe and proper use of equipment.
3. Make oxygen deliveries (cylinder and concentrator) and perform equipment checks on a daily route as determined by patient base and routing system.
4. Perform minor equipment repairs and preventative maintenance in the home and at the center. For repairs beyond minor, package equipment for shipment to the manufacturer.
5. Maintain company vehicle in a clean and orderly manner, including daily inspections and proper paperwork.
6. Clean rental equipment upon return, maintaining cleanliness and organization of warehouse/storage area.
7. Follow FDA guidelines related to cylinder tracking and oxygen analyzer testing.
8. Adhere to policies in the operations, safety, and regulatory manuals, including OSHA, DOT, FDA, and emergency procedures.
9. Work as an on-call service representative evenings and weekends as scheduled, responding promptly and recording calls.
10. Serve as backup for other employees during absences.
