Job Responsibilities:
- Complete equipment orientation checklists for new equipment and other necessary paperwork for new patient setup.
- Instruct patients in the safe and proper use of equipment.
- Make oxygen deliveries (cylinders and concentrators) and perform equipment checks on a daily route based on patient needs and routing system.
- Refill reservoirs with liquid oxygen from a van-mounted tank during deliveries.
- Perform minor repairs and preventative maintenance on equipment both in the patient's home and at the center.
- Package equipment for shipment to the manufacturer or their designee if repairs exceed minor work.
- Maintain equipment according to the manufacturer's schedule.
- Keep the company vehicle clean and organized, conducting daily inspections and completing necessary paperwork.
- Follow established preventative maintenance schedules.
- Clean rental equipment upon return, following policies and procedures.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse/storage area.
- Follow FDA guidelines for cylinder tracking and oxygen analyzer testing.
- Adhere to policies outlined in the operations manual, training manuals, and safety & regulatory manuals, including OSHA, DOT, FDA, and emergency procedures.
- Work as an on-call service representative during evenings and weekends as scheduled, responding promptly and recording information on Service Call Reports.
- Serve as a backup to other employees during vacation, illness, or absenteeism periods.
