Job summary

The Royal Marsden NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Scheduler to support the Private Care Medical Day Unit in Chelsea/Cavendish. The role focuses on arranging chemotherapy appointments, maintaining smooth day-unit operations and liaising with clinical teams and patients.

Part of a busy hospital environment, you will manage patient expectations and coordinate with nursing, pharmacy and medical staff on a rota basis across shifts.

Qualifications

• Interpersonal, verbal communication and organisational strengths.
• Keyboard/IT skills are essential for daily tasks.
• Hospital experience is desirable but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate appointments, scheduling and capacity management within the Private Care Medical Day Unit.
• Liaise with clinicians, nursing staff and patients to schedule chemotherapy treatment.
• Plan patient treatment and unit capacity considering rota, turnaround times and blood results.
