Job summary

TridentCare in San Jose, CA is seeking a reliable courier to support phlebotomy and laboratory operations. You will ensure timely deliveries and pickups of specimens, maintain accurate logs, and communicate courteously with phlebotomists, nurses, customers, and staff.

The role requires a High School Diploma or equivalent, a valid California driver's license with a clean driving record, and prior courier or driving experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid California driver’s license with a good driving record.
• Excellent interpersonal skills for communication with medical staff and customers.
• Previous courier or driving experience preferred.
• Knowledge of safe motor vehicle operation and maintenance.
• Understanding of traffic laws and regulations governing driving.

Responsibilities

• Deliver to departments, facilities, drop-sites, offices, or individuals.
• Pick up items from designated locations for delivery or next-day delivery.
• Maintain courteous communication with phlebotomists, nurses, and customers.
• Ensure specimens are properly labeled and transported with required paperwork.
• Adhere to privacy policies and protect patient information.
• Keep logs, timesheets, and records neat and accurate.
• Coordinate with dispatch and laboratory staff to ensure timely service.
